Chicken Vada

Again....with a mouthwatering spicy snack! I am sure you all will love it.  And it is called Chicken Vada.


To cook chicken
Chicken                  - 1 pound / 500g (boneless pieces preferable)
Ginger paste            - 1 1/2tbs      
Garlic paste             - 2 tbs
Chilli powder          - 1 tbs
Turmeric powder     - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water                       - 1/2 cup

For Vada
Onion                   - 2 medium finely chopped
Green chilli          - 5 nos finely chopped (note: use according to your spicy level)
Curry leaves         - 2 or 3 sticks
All purpose flour/maida - 1/2 cup
Rice flour             - 1/2 cup
Corn flour             - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Water  as needed

Oil  for deep frying


Cook chicken with all the ingredients from first section.

Shred chicken. Mix all the ingredients for vada with the shredded chicken. Add a little water to make it a thick batter. Mix well with hand.

Apply little oil on hand. Make small vadas and deep fry in oil.
